2. General information & your rights
We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). You have the right at any time to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21), as well as the right to withdraw any consent you have given. We answer requests within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (for us: the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany).
3. Hosting & server log files
This website is hosted on a server in Germany (Strato/own infrastructure). When you visit, the server automatically records access data (IP address, date/time, requested file, browser/operating system) in log files. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure, trouble-free operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short period.
4. Cookies & consent
Our website works without advertising or tracking cookies that would require consent. We only set technically necessary cookies (for example, to store your language preference) in order to provide the function you requested. Should non-essential cookies or external services be used in the future, we will load them only after your express consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 TDDDG), which you can withdraw at any time with effect for the future.
5. Fonts
Fonts are served locally from our own server. When you visit this site, no connection to third-party servers (such as Google Fonts) is established and no data is transferred to third parties.
6. Embedded media (two-click solution)
Where we embed third-party media (such as YouTube videos for music or audio), they are loaded only after your active click (two-click solution). Only then is data (including your IP address) transferred to the respective provider (for YouTube: Google Ireland Limited). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Nothing is loaded without your click. The audio samples on this website are stored on our own server; playing them transfers no data to third parties.
7. Audience measurement
For statistical audience measurement we use Rybbit, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool (operated on our own infrastructure, analytics.jesustalk.de). Rybbit works without cookies, uses no cross-device recognition and stores no complete IP addresses. Only aggregated figures that cannot be traced back to a specific person are collected (such as page views, approximate country-level origin, device type and referring page). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimal statistics (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Since no cookies are set and no personal data is processed, no consent is required; you may nevertheless object to the anonymous measurement at any time via info@idm24.com.
8. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, we process your details exclusively to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data once your request has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way.
9. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods.
10. Launch notification (email)
On this website you can sign up for a one-time notification when the book is released. Your email address is processed by our self-hosted mailing software (Listmonk, operated on our own infrastructure in Germany); no data is transferred to third parties. Sign-up uses double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email and are only subscribed after confirming. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to info@idm24.com. After the launch notification has been sent, the list will be deleted unless you have expressly asked for further information.
